Accessibility requirements are considered during design, implementation and quality assurance rather than added only at the end.

Coastlight uses animation and interactive visual systems as part of its digital experience.

These components receive additional review for:

- keyboard operation;

- pause, stop or reduced-motion behaviour;

- focus order;

- text and structural alternatives;

- contrast and visual clarity;

- touch interaction;

- screen-size adaptation;

- preservation of access when motion is reduced.

The aim is to retain the meaning and function of the experience across different ways of accessing the site.

English is the structural baseline for the Coastlight website.

German, French and Arabic versions require separate review for text expansion, reading order, navigation, interaction and right-to-left behaviour where applicable.

Accessibility review therefore includes both technical structure and language-specific presentation.

Coastlight publishes Executive Briefs and other materials in downloadable formats.

The accessibility of these documents is reviewed separately from the website itself. This includes document structure, reading order, searchable text, meaningful graphics and the availability of an appropriate alternative format.

Review activities include keyboard navigation, visible focus, zoom, reduced-motion preferences and assistive-technology behaviour.
